Why Gourmet?
Why should I spend more money on your coffee!?
The flavor of the coffee is one of the biggest advantages of gourmet coffee. The preference is often a great coffee bean. The smell of the coffee does the same. The better tasting the coffee, the better smelling the coffee is most likely to be.
If you can tell the difference in flavors, you understand. Those who are not coffee followers fail to see the purpose of the higher price. The taste, smell, and “Specialty Grade” name of gourmet coffee brands and selections come at a high rate. The process is much pricier. The ingredients are more expensive.
It is understandable that if these things are not important in your choice of coffee, then gourmet is not for you.
SIMPLY PUT, THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR GOURMET COFFEE AND REGULAR COFFEE IS THE BEANS USED TO MAKE IT...
All our beans are specialty grade, which means the coffee beans have 0 primary defects (such as black beans or sour beans) and less than five secondary defects (such as broken beans). The reason why this is so important is because primary defects will greatly affect the taste of the coffee. Having 0 defects allows the coffee to be the most optimal flavor.
Another difference between the cheaper chain or commercial store-bought coffee is the time between roast and receiving our Coffee. A common misconception about coffee is that people believe the closer to the roast date, the better the coffee is going to taste. Actually, coffee tastes best about 5-7 days after roasting. This time allows for the flavors to open up, offering much more clarity to your cup. In short, after rest what you extract is the flavor from the coffee beans rather than the trapped C02 often perceived as high acidity and sourness in fresh roasts.
At Cosco Coffee, we ship our coffee the same day it was roasted. You’ll never miss the best time to brew your coffee beans for the best taste.
Whatever your choice, Enjoy!
